Dee Park Community Woodland Event

Recently we had the honour of hosting an event at Dee Park Community Woodland. Together with Adriana from Cadwch Sir y Fflint yn Daclus/Keep Flintshire Tidy and some students from Venerable Edward Morgan School we welcomed Mike from @naturalresourceswales.

Mike came along to interview us and show off the amazing success story of the park. Once a local sports facility which then became unused and unwelcoming. But now thanks to grants from the lotto heritage fund & Plant is thriving diverse habitat and private park for all to enjoy . The interview with soon appear on natural resources wales website and YouTube page and be published in the national press.

We'd like to give special thanks to the students from Edward Morgan are regular supporters of the park and participate in almost all of our events there and contribute tremendously in an effort to maintain the area for all.
